Armenia Sensationally Won The World Team Chess Championship In Ningbo , China

The Armenian Chess Team proved to the whole world that Armenia in chess is like Brazil in football ; without a single loss Armenia dominated the event from the first round till the end ,while China won the silver medal and Ukraine came third to win the bronze .
The Armenian team -with an average rating 2709- includes the following list of players who honored their country : GM\Levon Aronian (2805) ,GM\Sergei Movsesian (2700) ,GM\Vladimir Akopian (2667) ,GM\Gabriel Sargissian (2663) and GM\Robert Hovhannisyan (2556) .

A Huge Achievement :Smouha And El Ettihad Chess Teams Reach The Excellent Egyptian Chess League Section "A"

Smouha Men Chess Team deservedly reached the Excellent Egyptian Chess League "A" for the first time after beating ElMaady team with a total result 10:6 (Smouha lost the first game 3.5:4.5 at El Maady Club on 15\7\2011 and won the second match 6.5:1.5 at Smouha Club on 22\7\2011).Smouha players fought bravely and with determination to finish the games in their favor .
The list of honor includes the following players :
IM\Aly Yasseen ,Mr.Ashraf Thoson ,Dr.Rafik Wahba ,Mr.Yousry Taher ,Eng.Mohamed Salam,Mr.Khaled Abd Elghaney ,Mr.Mahmoud Hamdy,Mr.Moustafa Ibrahim ,Mr.Sheif Anter and U-16:Moustafa Tarek , George Mourad and U-14 :Yasser Ibrahim ,Marwan Tarek ,Omar Moustafa and U-12 :Abd Elrahman Yasser Allam,Ahmed Sameh and Omar Khaled .Eng.Medhat Moheb is the team technical director and Islam Elmesery works as the team's administrative .
Also El Ettihad team reached the Excellent Egyptian Chess League "A" after beating Qanat Elsweis 8.5:7.5 .
