Welcome in SCCA World Chess Champion Anatoly Karpov

The legendary 12th World chess champion Grandmaster\Anatoly Karpov will visit SCCA (Smouha Club Chess Academy) on Sunday the 4th of July during his visit to Egypt for opening Karpov's schools of chess .The world chess champion has 2 schools which carry his name in the Arabic world the first one in Syria and the other in Morocco.
Mr.Hussein Nafady -The Chairman of the Egyptian Chess Federation-will accompany the World Chess Champion with an honorable Russian delegation during the visit.
Engineer\Farag Amer -Chairman Of Smouha Club and member of the Senate-will meet with the honorable guests.
SCCA officially opened on the fifth of September 2008 ;SCCA staff are :Engineer\Medhat Moheb -Academy Director-IM\Aly Yasseen (technical director),MR.Mohamed Hezazy (Trainer).

A Huge Success For Alexandria Youth Chess Tournament 2010

Alexandria Youth Chess Tournament took place at El Ettihad club from 6-16 March 2010.The tournament was a huge success where 55 players (33 boys and 22 girls).The winners were:
