FM\Moheb Amir Deservedly Won Smouha Second Closed Chess International Tournament

Ex African and Arab Champion (U-16) FM\Moheb Amir (2158 Elo) -now U-18- won his last game in the tournament against Mr.Ehab Abdel Aziz (2177) with a great style to clinch the title with 7.5 points while the tournament leader Mr.Moustafa Raslan (2112) drew his game aginst Mr.Tarek Abdel Wahed (2108) to come second with 7 points and fifth with 6.5 points consecutively .
Mr.Nabil Rashed (2139) won his game against Mr.Ahmed Mohamed Saad (2081) to come fourth with 7 points .Mr\Nasser Mosallam (2064) won his game against Eng.Remon Fekry (2168) to come third with 7 points .
The winner of the first prize for unrated players was Dr.Fatehy Assem who played a great tournament and won his final game with the white pieces against Mr.Hossam Mosallam (2067) to score 6 points .
Abdel Rahman Yasser Allam (U-12) came second for unrated players with 5.5 points while Eng.Mohamed Sallam ,Mr.Kareim Anton and Gerorge Mourad came from 3rd to 5th places with 5 points .
Hana Elwazzan won the trophy of the Sprtsmanship trophy .

Smouha Second Closed International Chess Tournament :Round 8

FM\Moheb Amir blundered away a Knight and lost his first game in the tournament-playing with the black pieces- against the more experienced player Mr.Nabil Rashed ,also on board (2) Mr.Moustafa Raslan drew his game against Mr.Nasser Mosallam while on board (3) Mr.Tarek Abd Elwahed won his game against Mr.Salah Hanafy ; and on board (4) Mr.Khaled Abdel El Ghany lost his game -playing with the white pieces- against Mr.Ehab Abdel Aziz. The big surprise came on board (7) when the unrated  Dr.Asem Fatehy won a beautiful game against Alexandria Champion for many years Mr.Ashraf Toson (2136) .

Smouha Second Closed International Chess Tournament :Round 7

Before the start of Round 7 all attendances in the playing hall stood for a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of the Egyptian soldiers who lost their lives in a filthy heinous crime on the border with Israel .
FM\Moheb Amir (2158) drew his game against the well known and experienced player Mr.Nasser Mosallam (2064) to keep his lead with 6.5 points while Mr.Moustafa Raslan (2112) won his game against Mr.Ehab Abdel Aziz (2177) to come in second place alone with 6 points while Mr.Nasser Mosallam (2064) ,Mr.Nabil Rashed (2139) and Mr.Salah Hanafy (2094)  came third with 5 points .

FM\ Moheb Amir (2158) won his game with the white pieces against Eng.Remon Fekry (2168)- a Winawer French-to keep the lead by 6 points out of 6 games ; followed by Mr.Moustafa Raslan (2112) and Mr.Naser Mosallam (2064) with 5 points and then came Eng.Remon Fekry (2168) and Mr.Ehab Abdel Aziz (2177) with 4.5 points .
