An Egyptian 18 Years Old Genius From Alexandria Makes It Into The Final 6 Regional Winners In Youtube Spacelab's Competition

Amr Mohammed Elmasry -18 years old student from Alexandria ,Egypt- was to able to achieve history and qualify for the final top six contenders who were selected at the level of regions of the world to win the global competition .The international competition attracted thousands of young youth from many countries around the world aged from (14-18) years old who competed to design innovative scientific experiments that could be carried in outer space .The contest was held in cooperation with a number of space agencies in the world including : NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) ,ESA (European Space Agency) and JAXA (Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency) that give the 2 first global winners a chance to have their experiments carried out in outer space (in the ISS -International Space Station) and to be broadcast-ed live on Youtube .The contestants who were selected for the six finalists were from : Egypt ,New Zealand ,India ,Spain and The United States Of America .
Amr's experiment is to investigate the effect of microgravity on behavior of jumping spiders (Zibra Spiders : Salticus Scenicus) catching their preys .The top six regional winners will travel to the USA on March to participate in a series of exciting events such as : flying in a simulation model to the outer space without gravity  and win a laptop Lenovo IdeaPad U 300s and have a chance to make a tour in Udvar-Havy (National Air And Space Museum) and then attend the Awards Ceremony on March the 22nd .

Egypt Mourns The Victims And The Martyrs Of The Massacre On The Bloody Sunday 9\10\2011

Thousands of Egyptians -Muslims and Christians- payed their tribute to the victims and martyrs -25 Coptic Christians and 1 Muslim soldier and about 300 seriously injured -of the massacre on the bloody and very sad Sunday 9\10\2011 .
Earlier a march led by the Copts and many Muslims as well to demand an end to the ongoing persecution and discrimination about the destruction of a church building in Aswan Province on September 30 .The demonstration was disrupted by thugs as when the peaceful protesters left the Shubra neighborhood they were attacked by by people throwing stones .After sometime the protesters continued their march and were attacked once more in Bulaq then afterwards when the protesters arrived In Maspero area -where the Official State Television is located- the protesters were met by thugs who attacked them with stones and sticks ; the protesters tried do defend themselves against the attackers when a horrible unprecedented thing happened : eyewitnesses and numerous videos broadcasting on CNN  and other media channels such as Youtube showed live ammunition fired from army soldiers and snipers against the peaceful protesters leaving many dead and injured and then armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers drove into the crowds with unbelievable brutality crushing the stones of many of them on the streets and killing many ruthlessly , also many eyewitnesses spoke about many martyrs bodies were thrown into the river Nile .  During these horrific events the National state television deceived intentionally the Egyptian people by claiming that the  Copts initiated the attack on the armed forces, as well as appealing to citizens to rise up to defend the armed forces against the attacking Copts?!! in an irresponsible act that could have initiated a sectarian civil war in Egypt .Many thugs and fanatics in the streets began to ask the escaping protesters for their religious identity and attacked the christian copts severely .  
 In the wake of what could be the worst act of violence against Egyptian Christians in modern history, leaders of the Coptic Orthodox Church have called for three days of fasting and prayer for divine intervention, along with three days of mourning.Ironically, the military authorities and the government they've appointed denied any responsibility about the heinous crime and are claiming that "an outside conspiracy against the state is behind the events."!! and decided to appoint a commission of inquiry .
 I offer my heartily felt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in Egypt  and wish a quick recovery to those who were injured. A Terror Deadly Blast Attack Against El Qiddiseen Coptic Church In Alexandria

At least 23 innocent Egyptian people (all of them are Coptic Christians ) died and about 90 others were injured in a deadly blast attack against El Qidiseen (The Saints) Coptic Church -in Khalil Hamada street ; Sidi Bishr District-in Alexandria about 12:20 a.m 1/1/2011.

My heart bleeds sorrow and sadness from this filthy heinous crime.All Egyptian People should condemn this barbarous and cruel crime.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of all the victims ;God bless their souls all.I pray for a fast and speedy recovery for all the injured...

Smouha First Closed Chess Tournament Takes Place From 21-28 December 2010

 Smouha First Closed Chess Tournament will take place from 21-28 December 2010 at Smouha Club Chess Academy (SCCA) VIP hall in Alexandria ,Egypt .Ten players were invited to play : 4 Masters and 6 talented youth from SCCA will compete in a one round Robin Tournament.The chess masters are :IM\Aly Yasseen (2320);Mr.Khaled Abdel Ghany (2133);Mr.Mahmoud Hamdy Darwish (2117)and Mr.Ashraf Toson (2116) while the talented chess youth are :Yara Allam ; Perihan Asem;Heba Elwazzan ;Ahmed Sameh ; Salma Wagdy-member of Egypt's national team and second U-10- and Abdel Rahman Yasser -member of Egypt's National team and Youth Chess Champion U-10-.

On the fifth of February 2008 US President Barack Obama -during his campaign for the Presidential candidacy - delivered a great speech in Illinois,Chicago .He said "...Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time.We are the ones we have been waiting for.."!!
