Chess Endgame Technique !

In chess the endgame (or end game or ending) refers to the stage of the game when there are few pieces left on the board. Endgames can be divided into three categories:
  1. Theoretical endgames – positions where the correct line of play is generally known and well-analyzed, so the solution is a matter of technique
  2. Practical endgames – positions arising in actual games, where skillful play should transform it into a theoretical endgame position
  3. Artistic endgames (studies) – contrived positions which contain a theoretical endgame hidden by problematic complications
In the diagrammed position white plays and wins by force .How ?

The Great Egyptian Coach And The International Player And Endgame Expert Captain\Ahmed Yeheya Visited SCCA

The Great Egyptian Coach and the International player -who was a former member of the Egyptian National team- and former Head of the Trainers Committee and well known Chess Endgame expert Captain\Ahmed Yeheya visited SCCA on Saturday 22\5\2010.
He gave a very instructive lecture on new ideas in some chess Openings related to pawn structure and many complicated endgame studies for SCCA advanced players who enjoyed the lecture.
On behalf of my self and all SCCA staff and players we would like to thank Captain\Ahmed for his instructive lecture.
